John R. Knowles, CEO

John R. Knowles founder, CEO, and majority owner of Plymouth Industries, Inc. has operated PI for 37 years. His entrepreneurial spirit, creative genius, and education in engineering and business have yielded a successful custom engineering and manufacturing company. During the last three decades, John has managed to surround himself with a creative engineering team and a highly productive manufacturing facility.

John and his engineering team, have multiple patents and numerous original designs. John has trained his workforce to reflect his unwavering standards of integrity, out-of-the-box creativity, and desire to always bring competitive advantages and solutions to our customers.

His motto is, "Just because you have a right, does not necessarily mean it is the right thing to do. Always do the right thing by making every decision as if the customer is in the room."

John J. Knowles, President

John J. Knowles has been a vital part of Plymouth Industries, Inc. for over 15 years. He has helped the company grow by involvement in overseeing the company's general operations. His business education and experience has been instrumental in implementing effective data control to accounting, inventory, costing, and production environments.

He oversees the I.T. systems within the company in order to bring structure, accountability, and efficiency to the internal systems. His likable personality helps him support an elite customer base. John is involved in marketing and long-rage planning for company growth. He holds the company's high standard of integrity and is in charge of all corporate charitable donations. John's approach to charitable giving is, "What goes around, comes around." He is a minority stockholder and sits on the Board of Directors.

Michael Knowles, Vice President

Michael Knowles brings numerous years of exceptional service with primary focuses in sales, service, engineering and creative problem solving. Michael's creative genius makes him a perfect resource for our customer base.

Numerous times Michael has brought an out-of-the-box solution to solve a customer's challenge during the conversation in which the challenge was presented (on the spot solutions). Michael's creative ideas add value for our customers as it is well known that most cost savings occur in the design and planning phase by picking the most efficent and effective approach.

He is personable, knowledgeable, easy to work with, and service orientated. His conscience and need for fairness consistently put him on the customers' side. Michael has recently been promoted to Vice President. In his new position, he plays a vital role in project design and management as well as sales and marketing. Additionally, he is a minority stockholder and sits on the Board of Directors.
