As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our production processes, creative product design, and enhancing overall efficiency. Job Duties:
- Creative product designs utilizing cost-saving solutions to customer problems.
- Create product models using CAD.
- Present designs and concepts to customers and project managers.
- Coordinate and validate product designs match internal manufacturing capabilities.
- Create and maintain documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOM), part drawings, assembly drawings, schematics, and job routings.
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and automation solutions.
- Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions, process documents, and production schedules.
- Provide technical support to production teams and troubleshoot issues that arise during manufacturing.
- Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
