Engineered for Strength and Flexibility
Constructed from tubular carbon steel, this heavy-duty Line Flow Rack provides exceptional rigidity while maintaining adjustable versatility. The frame features 3/8-inch square holes on 1.5-inch centers, allowing quick reconfiguration of shelf spacing to accommodate various part sizes and production needs.
Each unit includes seven carbon steel flow-through shelves, supported by 14 pairs of precision-welded shelf brackets. The open, perforated shelf design promotes clean part flow and helps prevent debris buildup—an important consideration for lean manufacturing operations and assembly lines that rely on high-volume, repetitive processes.
Smart Mobility and Ergonomic Design
To ensure smooth mobility between work cells, each rack is equipped with two 5-inch swivel casters, two 5-inch fixed casters, and a floor lock for stability when stationary. The rack’s compact footprint (approximately 25.7” L × 52.5” W × 78.2” H) makes it ideal for use alongside production lines or within kitting areas where space optimization is critical.
Optional shelf dividers can be added for even greater organization—six per shelf are recommended—to keep components separated and easily accessible during high-mix manufacturing runs.
Built to Last
Like all Plymouth Industries products, the Line Flow Rack undergoes a three-step surface preparation process that includes an alkali soap wash, a high-pressure rinse, and a Zirconium treatment for enhanced corrosion resistance. The finished assembly is coated with a durable, low-sheen black enamel, resulting in a professional, clean appearance that withstands everyday use in industrial environments.
Sharp edges and weld splatter are fully removed during finishing, ensuring operator safety and product longevity.
